anyone else notice that ever since a certain meme was brought to this board that /p/ has died in the ass? I mean it's never been a fast or even good board, but it's really, really bad the last month or so.

It's good to see a Fuji user admit that they can't compete on image quality or professional features, and that photography for him isn't about the art, but farming Instagram clicks and larping as a wartime PJ, and for that, Fuji is sufficient.

/p/ was dying long before this meme appeared. But it has driven away a lot of posters in my opinion. Just look at some of the replies in this thread and you can see that there are some rabid people that simply won't drop it, shit like this comes and goes though it will be something else sooner or later.

Nobody every wants your take on 4chan, but if you ask me rolling covid lockdowns in some parts of the world have created fluctuations in actual in school teaching. It's been a year of summerfags. That in my opinion is the problem, look at other boards and you'll see the same thing.

Said the guy that suggests the brand with 4% market share, with major shortcomings, as the best camera to everyone and everyone that asks.

The best camera for a newbie, will always be the one with the biggest market share, by advising for anything other than Sony, you are creating an awful experience for new users and setting them up for failure. You will be the death of the board.

We actually agree though. I don't think Fuji is the best choice for a newbie, it will always be the big three, and in particular Sony. So many great lenses available for E mount and you have Sigma lines available too. That doesn't mean Fuji doesn't have it's place for certain people, just like I chose to buy a Z6.
