Warranty is for issues intrinsic with the device, not users being ham fisted twats, the same copal shutter is used in lots of cameras, it's not a Sony part. If the shutter was an issue then it would also be an issue on the Nikon and Panasonic full frame bodies.
All your seeing here is a camera that sold in high enough quantity, that there's enough people that have fucked their camera in the same way to believe there is some sort of pattern\reason beyond their dyspraxic flailing limbs.
