Zeiss used some of its western factories to resume production but all their technology was war-time stuff, they had to be saved by third-party hawks Cosina/Kinon. Voigt i don't recall, i think they just bought their name and used them to make more traditional lenses unlike the cutting-edge modern manual Zeiss.
And hell, if we really look into it non-Axis photo technology didn't happen until the mid-70's with americans doing computer-assisted zooms, similar to automotive technology not progressing much until the muscle car race in the mid-60's. And if you also look into it most art supplies were mostly Axis countries, even to this day, and same happens with ton of industries and areas. Who knows what the japenese would've done if they had the rights to manufacture guns.
