Hi guys!
Some weeks ago i posted about a guy on facebook getting white orbs (pic related) on his scans (he thaught it was from him messing up the developing)

So i thought why not try it myself
I got 3 rolls
One i will leave it in my room till i get to shoot it (i already have a roll that i just got like 6 frames in)
The second one i will do the same but i will keep it in the freezer and put blak tape on before putting it in my camera
The third one i will flash it (for like 5 second) with my phone then put black tape on it.
(All rolls colorplus 24 frames)
Wish me luck :)

I still think that's not it but we'll see.
My hypothesis is that the light leak is going to be much more uneven and big ruining several frames.

I will try to shoot through them as fast as i can. I think i will post the results in mid may (worst case scenario i will post them in late may).
If anyone knows they can do it before me or wants to try this feel free to do it

I think if i put more holes one the role it will go blank completeley or have big light leaks.
But if this works i will do a second batch and try to form shapes with the holes

i saw an aussie shooting 35mm on MF on this board and he got small cuts in his film and they had an orangy border round the cuts.
and perforating film in the same place for at least 3 frames in the dark doesnt seem plausible

I suspect the Reddit fag lied about where the images came from, probably a creep who bought them in an album at Goodwill.

They look like the circles left behind in prints made from declined negatives and are also the appropriate size to have been made with a hole puncher.

Wouldnt a puncture create a line as the film is wound rather than orbs?

no(?). because the film is exposed to light in the canister and since light gets through the small puncture (~5mm) there will be an orb. (if im mistaken corect me).

Yes but how do you get orbs in multiple frames without the film moving inside the canister? Why isnt it exposing while the roll is wound, only when its stationary?
