The canon ae-1 has got to be the most sold slr camera in the world. im talking out of my ass but it sems that way.
but why? whats so special about it? what makes it different from the countless other shutter speed prioroty cameras? and why does it get so much hate here? i recently got a new canon lens so i dug out my moms old ae-1. there is nothing special about it, but i also wouldnt say its bad at all. i cant stand the exposure time priority meter but thats just my preference. i really like this lens but the meter kills it for me. im looking for a canon with either an apperture prioroty meter or a manual meter, a clear no-bullshit viewfinder and the camera should not be too heavy. any suggestions?
