I had never before developed my own film, but come to find out it's much easier than I anticipated. Previously, I had assumed that one needed a whole darkroom, but of course all one really needs is a bag! Gosh!

That said, there is much work to be done in myriad ways, and the room-for-improvement both in terms of fixing the cameras and taking the pictures and developing them and photographing the negatives and just everything, really.

I won't bore you with the results from the first roll, as they are quite unspectacular (which does not in any way diminish the pleasure in taking and processing them, of course) but let me just say that the DigitaLIZA 35mm Scanning Mask is a neat little contraption.

Archaic to my mind would be a Scythian camera of some variety. These are hardly even wee toddlers in the great and grand scale of the yugas.
