they really are the best tough camera on the market especially considering the only ones with RAW support

i took under water portraits with it last year just to see how it would hold up and it didnt flinch a bit

finally nabbed some phone pics i took around the same time as the rest of the thread

Comfy thread OP, thanks for sharing. Only thing I'll say is that I think you've way overdone the processing on some of your photos to the point where the overuse of HDR and crushed blacks detracts from the overall mood of the photos. I feel like I'm more distracted by the heavy processing than actually feeling like I'm in the location you're trying to document.

Still an excellent thread and you clearly have a very good eye.

noted, ill try my best to scale back the editing, espoecially the HDR, no thtat its at all an excuse, but i think the olympus automatically has HDR on full at any moment from what ive noticed, but still i can at least try to iron that out in post

These ones are especially lovely. I especially appreciate the fact that you managed to find beauty at work with a supposedly smaller sensor camera. Truly put larper gearfag like me to shame.

The only advice I like to give, as >3876252 said, is to be careful with post-processing. Some of the tonal contrast are too harsh and in the case of some of the pictures you took with your phone you might like to be careful with the clarity slider which can introduce a strange white halo effect to the edge of objects especially in contrast/backlight
