>>3876669This is a shit place, the jannies are either glowniggers or social studies subverters and most of us here eat shit but the other places are not any better: Pretentious boomers who think they know everything while being ridiculed by modern digital shooters who only look at specsheets, instathots and yid influencers who know and are interested more about marketing than their own camera, hordes of gearfags who don't know how to take a photo nor read a specsheet and at last, the shit-eating photographers who do take pictures but also think they are changing the world and that their shit is not badly composed trash most of the time.
The actual good photographers are all alone huffing their own stuff or are trying desperately to get back all the money they invested on gear in selling ebooks or awkward courses in their local park. The other good photographers, the photojournalists and high-pressure event shooters, don't even like photography and are just worried about their next gig.
That leaves us with this place, a cesspool of everything mentioned above but on a neutral ground where identity is not seen and you have to fight for your own ideas. It isn't good and it could be better if only the few decent anons found themselves on another, more neutral ground but their contributions along with some banter from the others is what makes this place barely tolerable.
