You probably need several ones and/or an action cam strapped on the actor, the smallest you can get. And yes, nobody cares about bokeh, maybe except for some specific settings and vanilla scenes.I think my lighting is adequate. I have two soft boxes and an umbrella, if I need one. But I usually end up just using one soft box.
What I need? Something that provides for longer shooting time than the 15 minutes that I get on a cell phone.
Something that's easy to handle, preferably with a tilting screen. Or with easy tethering to my phone.
I have DSLR but it's not optimal for video.
I want to be able to get more people into the frame without getting that horrible distortion you get with cell phones.
How are those old handycams to work with? They might work for my shooting style.
