Apparently I'm not used to whatever "midwestern nothing" scenes are, but I think the sun reflecting of the first container looks excellent, and the contrast of industrial life element with nature works very well in this specific case. If only the the lit up part of the darker container was a bit brighter I'd love it very much.

Thank you very much! I'll work on your advice. Regarding to what you have posted I really dig the rythm of the window lights and the big white space on the left side. I also like the flowers on the bottom but the human standing is not interesting enough, atleast for me. I could image a better (more interesting) posture or not cut in the half.

Thanks so much. I have another tighter crop because I didn't like the banners above them ruining the scene a bit, but it's just too boxed in and awkward as a 1x1. Bit of a bummer.
Also took today as an opportunity to mess with an Ektar 100 sim, was pretty fun to play with some warmer tones and bolder colours than I'm used to.

I took the photo and I guess it's just because it's what I really want to photograph, so nerves/anxiety can't get in the way of it. I always feel really bad if I let that happen. It's a great way to build confidence. If someone really notices then I tend to make some form of contact like smiling/waving or asking if they'd like to see the photo and if they'd like the finished product sent to them for free.

Could be a bit of both. Try using a delay drive mode or remote to eliminate the possible movement of manually pressing the shutter release.

Can't remember the name but it was an amateur event to familiarize beginners with the track. Lots of daily drivers on the track, I am guessing the Miata guy was a regular.

For some reason I love these kinda photos.
All the balconies and windows are built exactly the same way but you can see each persons individual influence on what they placed on the balconies and in front of the windows.

Maybe I'm just weird but it's interesting to me.

Actually a good example for lack of foreground/background structure being able to work in landscape photography. This actually works without a foreground/middle/background structure. Very nice minimalistic shot.

Thanks for the feedback. Agree with most of it, scrapping the barrel with shots from my last photo walk. Hopefully off out later today into the city and will make a thread.
