The GH5 Mk-II was created because the GH6 feature set would make it taxed to shit by the EU, who would consider it a professional broadcast-type camcorder and not a camera

Dude, those rules are long gone. They haven't played with the design of the last two generations of hybrids. The ones gimping the cams right now are manufacturers that smelled fresh cash making small dedicated cine cams. And frankly, they're slowly emerging as the better value. c200/100, r3, bgh1, fp, zcams, bmpc... Market is diversifying.

The rumours right now are that GH6 will be announced along with GH5 mark2.

I wish they just made an S line camera with PDAF.
The S5 is nice, but without PDAF, it's not really appealing outside of still life. The fp L is more appealing for the PDAF.

If they do make new GH cameras, I would be interested to see if they add features for IP streaming, or Blackmagic RAW output. I know the S1H is the golden cow for that sort of stuff, but ProRes RAW is annoying if you're not a Mac user.

BRAW is available on the S1H, you're absolutely correct.
But as far as I can tell, it's only the S1H. The S1 and S5 are only ProRes RAW. The GH5 and the BGH1 are only ProRes RAW.
Even within MFT, Olympus' E-M1 Mk III and the E-M1X are only compatible with ProRes RAW.

BRAW support is only found on the Canon EOS C300, Panasonic S1H, EVA1, Nikon Z7, Z7 II and Z6 and the Sigma fp and fp L.
So why can't Panasonic bring BRAW to more cameras, like the GH models?

I'm saying this because I like the idea of carrying a small MFT body + 12-35 + 35-100 2.8 as my travel cam,fit them snuggly inside a small bag

What? The g9 is insane at video, and cheap too. Their cheap lenses are contrasty and sharp. The s5 specs looks real nice. Panasonic makes quality mft. Canon cripples video that you have to spend 1.5 k and above for. For photos, canon is awesome. Never liked snoy because of their political bullshit.

They've fixed it a lot with updated. Imho, they're as good as fuji right now. Actually better in few areas like sky AF, but worse in features. Sony has best tracking, Canon has best overall, but they're all pretty much in the usable area. Still, nobody is good enough to displace reliable quality of MF.

The GH series won't be getting 8K video yet. For that you can put a lot of blame on Comcrap and the other greedy ISPs for dragging ass when it comes to infrastructure. It looks like the gh6 will have a 24mp sensor, I just want a stills focused panasonic with those hardware udpates, something like a g9 ii or g95 succesor. I like olympus cameras but not the menus and those tend to be overpriced.

I wouldn't care for 47MP if it compromises on dynamic range. Most of the more expensive MFT cameras are 20MP right now, and yeah I could go for 24 or 26, but improving DR should be the chief concern to keep MFT an attractive option compared to APS-C (because who are we kidding, very few people will ditch full frame for something smaller).
