>>3891143>Professionals rarely use digital LeicasIt depends heavily on the individual and the kind of "professional" work they're doing.
I've seen plenty of footage of journalists/correspondents for news organisations/agencies carry digital M cameras for stills in a documentary/war photography style. While these journalists aren't being hired for their photography, it's a plus.
Leica's S3 medium format DSLR is often a "cheaper" alternative to Phase One or Hasselblad, and indeed Leica make adaptors for the S mount for Hasselblad H lenses and Pentax 645.
The Leica Q2 is often used by some professionals, but I suspect this might be more for those pictorialists.
The Leica SL2 is a common choice too for some... richer professional photographers, especially those who are employed directly by certain magazines, though... The SL2 isn't really any better than a Panasonic Lumix S1 or the S1R, especially given how many Panasonic parts are in the Leica...
I think more and more, the likes of the TL/CL, Q and M cameras are turning more into... "luxury" items alongside Rolex watches, Hugo Boss suits and so on. The fact that Leica are fully embracing their cameras being incorporated into rich bastard fashion is really an annoying development.
