So, like, yeah, a Digital Rebel is going to crap on you pretty quickly in the jungles of southeast Asia, but a 1Dx or D6 should handle it no problem and should be able to deflect a bullet if you're lucky enough that one hits your camera and not any of your soft human surface area.
