I've got three 7artisans lenses and they have not broken my M9 nor were they miscalibrated when they arrived. I'm guessing that guy has no actual experience or information, he's just racist against the Chinese.

You can cry racism all you want but I said they're Chinese just because it's an accurate description. I've got plenty of shit that's made in China that I have no issue with. I'm just trying to help the guy make a good lens purchase.

All rangefinders eventually need calibration, but saying that a poorly constructed lens instantly pushing a rangefinder mechanism to such an extreme that it instantly goes out of calibration is "something that happens to all rangefinders eventually" is bullshit. They can get slowly out of calibration over time, but there are plenty of film Leicas in use that simply haven't needed calibration.
