There are times that I look at photos, mostly landscape and nature stuff, and I am mesmerized by them. It’s like you stare at them and are drawn in. Others, like a lot of the ones I take, are not so. I try to look at the ones that draw me in and identify what makes them good. Sometimes it is color or balance. But sometimes, I can’t tell what it is. It’s just good. And of course, I can look at some and can’t pinpoint why it is bland. Just basic.
What makes a photo good?
What advice can you give that would help someone identify the good characteristics? Or the bad?
