That particular model, not really. They're pretty fun if you get these working with medium format cameras though, or if you have a working SX-70. Each shot is damn expensive though.

Arguably Polaroids aren't that cute, and they don't have the same air as the Go or Instax has, but unless you are a creep, you wouldn't get labeled that guy.

In the past year or two I seriously contemplated getting a Polaroid and/or Instax camera and I am so glad I didn't do that. The cost of film is insane.

I just got an Instax SQ6 for memory-keeping because I have brain damage. I don't bother going through digital photos on my PC and never remember to get physical prints made, so it's nice to just slap these in a scrapbook and go back through it each time I add more.

I'm a woman though so nobody gives a shit how autistic it makes me look.

wait is the film used for these new Polaroid instant cams the same film that was used in the ones from the 80s?
I swear to God the latter was much cheaper than ~$2 a print like it is now.

The film was about the same cost adjusted for inflation from what I've seen. A 1981 NYT article has it at $9.95 for a 10-pack, which is $30 after inflation and actually way more expensive.
