>>3915521>so im just into photographyOlder bodies do just fine, in fact if you are going to spend money above the 1k mark i would recommend older full frame cameras unless you plan to move into video sooner or later.
If not then go for Nikon from 2011 to 2017 or Canon's 5D series, maybe even a Sony Alpha 7 (IIR or III/R), you are going to save serious money there and with results virtually the same if you use RAW or a good JPG workflow. If you REALLY are going to shoot only photography you might as well use Pentax, the K1 and K3 are great stuff for the money involved but their true power comes in the RAW files which are among the best in the business.
If you are going to step into video occasionally then Zikon or Sony Alpha 7 III (SII if you have ND filters), i would say Canon but so far they are still expensive (Z6 vs. R6 prices are a thousand dollar difference for roughly the same performance) then things get a bit more complicated if you are going to do video a lot later on, there it depends on doing normal video or RAW stuff.
>/fag/ threadFuck i realized that until later, apologies, in that case XS10 is pretty damn good and you can even get away with a XPro 1 but the 2 is much nicer to use. Photo technology hasn't changed that much in the last 5 years other than locked functions in newer cameras.
If you are looking at a XE then you are probably looking at portability, in that range i do not know the differences but the XE4 easily battles against the Ricoh GR in the JPG range, in RAW the GR has the advantage of having the same sensors as the Pentax line.
