Another excellent lens (also in size), though more expensive is the 35mm f/2.8 Biogon.
If you're not obsessive about IQ though and don't always shoot landscapes and architecture stopped down, the 35mm f/1.4 Nokton is a really nice and comfy general purpose lens, that can also do environmental portrait, low light, etc., at a reasonable price and size.
