Been very out of the game for the past few years.

Always fucked with a 50D and whatever lens suited me at the time but that was literally about 10 years ago. Decided to get back into it and have no idea about the body/lens landscape these days - Mind giving me a quick run down of the current state of affairs regarding bodies and lenses? I'd have no problem continuing with my 50D but the sensor is fucked from years of neglect, if that body is still worth it i'd have no issue just buying a new one.

When I last left off Canon were shitting on everyone, still true?
