For 1-3 years old film you can proceed without any compensation if it was stored in decent conditions.
For 4-8 years old film you can experiment and compensate it by a 1/3-1 stop and everything should be ok except for increased grain.
For 8-10 years 1 stop overexposure is necessary, but you can develop is as nominal iso. If the developer is fresh then the result will be fine.
