You'll be hard pressed to find another camera as goofy lookin as this one. They're a real novelty compared to the mk2, but at least they can still be found for just 30 bucks.

Neither.
It's 110 film, like 135 is 36x24 and 120 varies with no dimension being '20mm.

It was discontinued because it wasn't good for anything but poorfags and disposable cameras. Brought back by some manufacturers for a while but nobody takes it serious.

The frames are literally 36x24 jfc. The film itself is 35mm wide but almost no cameras shoot to the sprocket holes.

There was the GM5 which came close, but it was a rangefinder-styled body
I think the biggest reason is heat, digital sensors need a larger body to dissipate heat better, and an m43 camera that small would overheat and explode in your hands after using it for a while

anyone ever hit that point where you just want to sell all your gear and buy a nice digital setup because of how much simpler it is?

I do photography semi professionally and whilst I love the results I get with film, it's sometimes more work than it's worth, especially if you dev/scan your own film then have to deal with correcting things.

Then again I could never get a similarly priced DSLR version of my Pentax 67 :(

We never did, and that's why m4/3 is dead. Panasonic made a few cameras that actually took advantage of the format's size but that's about it.

keep an eye on second hand digital kits. I was sorta in the same boat as you but where i love photography as a hobby and film is really fun however it gets expensive/time consuming quite quickly. I ended up buying an X-T2 and xf 18-135mm for $550 and I still sometimes feel like i may of dumped the money. Not because of its bad or anything, but film has that unique feel to it. You can mess up a shot of film and it still looks pretty cool whilst digital photography is just getting that cleanest and most desired shot. Do that with film and you get a double bonus, good image and film aesthetic.
Its personal preference, and if it helps, autism will strike when it comes to post editing digital photos. Film will never die (unless kodak keeps ramping up their prices and fujifilm keeps running out of stock) so keep a look for cheap used digital kits and in the meantime keep using film, in my opinion anyway.

i wouldnt be surprised. Its great for portraits because its quite sharp in the centre (at something like f/8.0 lol) but it drops off a lot the further you go out. It came with the kit for 550 so im not complaining. I shoot film mostly and have digital as a side thing like when it rains or its not feasible

please rent a 35 1.4 for a couple days, can't shill it enough. I came from film to sony and hated how soulless it felt. I almost gave up on digital but the xf 35 1.4 was the antidote for me. it's just rare to find modern lenses with character that are also fun to use. its old and noisy but it's very special and you'd love it if you look past its initial flaws.

the 2.0 has faster autofocus, is weather-sealed, and is newer and yet lacks all of the soul of the 1.4. the 1.4 is many's favourite lens in the lineup because of the way it renders. also in the used market (at least here) they're priced relatively similarly. You can't go wrong with either but you could rent them for a bit, really recommend trying them.

yeah i just went through a billion photos and 1.4 does really stand out. A real shame no ones selling them here for a reasonable price. The best price i could find was converted $641 USD meanwhile the 2.0 is 310 usd new. Is there any other lenses similar to these?

Lomography has an online shop (shipping is like 10€ tho), and some local stores near me have it too.
Tiger is kodak gold 200, orca is Fomapan 100, peacock x-pro is rollei crossbird 200, lobster is redscale kodak gold, and metropolis and purple are their own thing.
I tried E6 processed peacock and the results are quite underwhelming, see pic related. I suppose the fact that I can't adjust the ISO on my Optima 6000 is the main problem. I should see how it comes out cross-processed as intended.

Lobster is the hardest to shoot of them all. Shadows are lost. It needs a lot of light. If I were shooting in a camera with better control, I would shoot it at ISO 50 instead of the advertised 200.
