Well I'm no beginner in photography, so there's that. Wish I would've explored it much sooner!

Experimenting with davinci resolves frame interpolation and it's working amazingly for clouds. Webm related, 60fps timeline from a 24fps timeline.

Use darktable and ffmpeg/kdenlive.
Copy and paste the filmic and exposure module settings from the first to the rest of the shot.
Make sure you don't have any black bars or anything else.

Import into kdenlive and run that shit on. EZPZ.

I edit them to stick around the entire range of the scope of above 100 for the darkest blacks and around 900 for the brightest highlights.
I like the darker sky giving that feeling of space rather than the blue sky.

This feel is getting close to the kind of imagery I like to take; I like clouds where we're looking almost parallel to their formation stratum--there are a lot of fun feelings looking straight up, but seeing the complexity from the same base as the cloud provides much more definition.

Disagree, but I do usually like to find a nice foreground. These photos had really lame foregrounds so I just went clouds only. I think it can give kind of an airborne effect.
