Like, you could get something like an FG probably for around twenty to thirty bucks. It'll mount the same lenses as the FM2, so same optics. It lacks the 1/4000th max shutter speed and isn't quite as tanky in build quality as the FM2, but it's still a solid, reliable, small 35mm camera.
It really just feels like you're avoiding taking pictures by chasing The Perfect Camera. You'll always get better pictures by *taking pictures* than you will by spending days debating over whether the Leica M series optics are better than the Nikon F optics or whether or not the Contax G is a reliable camera long term or any of that bullshit. Just grab a camera, throw some film in there, and take some photos.
