A photobook is a publication focusing on print quality and photographic sets by an author or a group of them via an art publisher or at least one that curates and/or knows how to do big fancy printing, with or without extensive text, that showcase their unadulterated artistic vision for a photography loving community.
A study that includes and "refer(s) to self-designed photo books", aka making a Word document with tons of baby and cat pictures, printing it at an Office Depot with a soft-cover and only having 2 or 3 copies for your direct family is not "a photobook".
An obligatory public school homework report about visiting a rapist hole aka a refugee center in Frankfurt, made in PowerPoint, saved in PDF, printed at said Office Depot in full color and binded because the teacher is an asshole is also not "a photobook".
Now go ahead, go to the photobook thread and say if they liked your aunt's cat collection taken with a cellphone and printed in A6 or A7 size binded with a plastic spring, it is "a photobook" so they should know about it, right?
