Maybe I'll catch a sale around the holidays, get the 28mm f/2.8 kit when that's out, get the discounted FTZ with it, and enjoy it a lot more. The circumstances with how I felt a little ripped off by the overpriced adapter contributed to my dissatisfaction a lot lol. I shoot a lot of birds and I wasn't able to get any use out of it without access to my F-mount telephoto lens, so I just kept not using it and my full refund date kept creeping closer.
And hey maybe my Z fc will end up as an "open box" or a "refurb" and someone will get it for cheaper on Amazon's dime. Or maybe they'll go in and reset the shutter count and sell it as new again.
Or fuck it maybe Adorama will find something wrong about my return and ship it back to me and I'll take that as a sign.
