looking at a leica q typ 116 for car/street photography. it will cost about $2500. should I look at a leica rangefinder or non leica? is it the wrong choice?

X100 has no shutter lag. I've had the OG, T, F and V.
I've also owned the Q which was great but the RGB flashing in the EVF was annoying as fuck. Some of the best shots I've ever taken walkign around a city at night though.

- Optical viewfinder so you’re actually looking at life and not yet another tiny screen

No shutter lag in the EVF or LCD. There’s shutter lag if you have the OVF+ERF mini screen and the latter is zoomed in, but none if it’s zoomed out. This is deficient behavior found in the X100 and X-Pro.

Q is amazing camera and considered thats it's Leica lens, it's good value for money, because Summilux 1.4 ASPH alone will cost you more than whole Q camera. Lens is amazing, usability shits on X100 in all ways. I had Q for 3 years before I moved to film, the only problem I have with this camera is lens, it's too wide for me. If you have money, go for it. And before anyone calls me Leica shill, I moved to Mamiya and Contax.
