It's using the old 51 MP sensor from the older bodies. It doesn't have the same resolving power as the 100S and you can get cheaper offerings from both nikon and Sony that have the same amount of MP but aren't bogged down with the curse of slow focus speeds and enormous bodies.

But yeah sure, much medium format and all.

Unless you're shooting at base iso, unfortunately yes, as even f1.4 lenses on full frame will offer better signal to noise ratio than the current GF lineup and fastest lens.

Probably but they're so damn expensive. I wanna buy one eventually but decided dropping the money to get a license and a car instead will likely improve my shots exponentially more than the slight noise reduction and boost to dr.

My d500 seems to work well enough for now.

Fwiw, the difference in size between full frame and phase one MF, is almost identical to the jump from crop to FF.

And 645 is considered baby bitch tier for MF film.

Yes, when you don't like the 4 by 3 aspect ratio you should buy full frame.
I like the 4 by 3 aspect ratio in portrait mode but I prefer the 3 by 2 aspect ratio in landscape mode.

Wide is better for landscapes, but I do it even wider. 4:3 is brilliant for everything else.

Much easier to stack panoramas. Better in portrait orientation. More head room leading to savings on headwear. Easier to crop to even taller formats, like 5:7, 8:10, 1:1...
