I own a few cameras with x-trans and I'm burnt out on the shortcomings. Pretty much the only worthwhile Fujifilm cameras at this point are the Medium format cameras (which have bayer) and Instax.

LR works just fine for Fuji files. You just don't overuse sharpness slider and use texture instead. No good editor is using sharpness slider on bayer sensors as well. It's trash no matter what you throw at it.

Sharpness in Adobe camera raw is perfectly good at offsetting the softness caused by Bayer sensors, as that's what it's designed for.

It is not designed to add detail to your photos, it is a technical tool, not an artistic one.

No, it's not. It's trash that fucks up further workflow. You can look up any serious editing tutorial. First thing that everyone does is turn sharpness completely off. You can sharpen your photos, but it's the last process, not the first.
