I don't believe in photoediting.
I believe digital manipulation of an image after its capture essentially invalidates it from the medium of photography. It can still be labeled as a digital painting/piece/image, but not a photograph.
A photograph is meant to capture capture moment sliced from real life. It's supposed to be the single moment of shutter blink made permanent for all time.
You might as well paint a painting if you don't want to represent the exact moment.
However, I do concede that any manipulations done by altering the setting of the camera and how the image is captured there is allowed, or even creating these same effects afterwards.
