Did you stop to think how does it compensate for varying focal lengths? hmmm? hmmmmmmm?Rangefinders with interchangeable lenses show frame lines in the viewfinder so you can see (roughly) where your shot is. It's not 100% perfect, but it's close enough for most purposes.
When you change lenses, there's a mechanism that changes the frame lines to match the lens you've put on the camera.
As others have told you, it's definitely an optical viewfinder. It's just not a TTL viewfinder.
