Not everyone buys a camera for the same reason. You can want the high res and not care about absolute sharpness or noise levels.

that's not necessary with canon cameras. even with iso 100 there are lots of noise already.

that's actually not what I implied.
I implied that digital grain, from Lightroom and capture one, is essentially a noise algorithm, because it objectively is. That's what it is. It's digital noise. It might look better than your camera's noise from turning up the gain on the sensor but it's still just digital noise added on top of your image.

That's even more brainlet take that it was first imagined. Better looking digital noise gained from computer is somehow worse than poorer looking digital noise gained by computer in camera.

I was on vacation driving down highway one in (mah) v8 and just threw my d500 in my truck (hood at least on correctly) no cap and proceeded to either be breaking or slamming it(throwing the card every which way because that's some nice coast line. Must have been at least 20 miles. You must love us out of towners. Don't worry though, I play angels in D'n'D.

anything digishit, ive got a powershot elph ill use from time to time, in low light you can some nice noise and motion blur from the longer exposures.
comfy form factor too.

I didn't say it was worse, I said it was not significantly different from a technical standpoint, one is designed to look more pleasing, yes but it isn't organic or real like actual film grain, it's a noise algorithm.
I didn't say the camera's noise is better, just that it is noise regardless.

Please, unless English is not your first language, go back to school or pick up a book because you clearly have some basic reading comprehension issues.
