>>3938458If you can see the light blooming out from the direction of the city then you're still too close. Depending on the size you might need to drive awhile. I need to drive for about 15-20 mins to avoid the light pollution from my town of 50,000 people. There's also hills here that help block excess light from traveling too far, though.
