...And then after you received said camera, you come on here to check whether or not you made a good purchase or not. Hmm, almost as if you're asking us to validate whether or not you made a good decision?
Like someone else said earlier, you've already bought it, who cares what we think? Whoop-de-doo, it apparently vignettes. It's a kit lens, virtually all kit lenses are average at best. Have you actually checked if yours vignettes? Maybe it doesn't. Does it go away if you stop it down? Do you even know what vignetting or stopping down means?
You bought something, so at least play around with it before having doubts and regretting it before you've even used it properly.
