I would have shot like twenty versions of the same scene from several different angles so I would have options and wouldn't have to fret over minor details that are cropped out later.

Although I also realise this may not have been possible since I don't know the circumstances. Over all I like the picture, it has atmosphere and it has context. The bin is a part of that context, though not essential, and it is a bit distracting though not too detrimental.

What ruins it is the meme processing that tries to make it look like some kind of fucking comic or something.

I like it with the trash can more. It offsets how dominant the leaves are in the foreground.

I would have shot it 4x5 and shifted so I could get the photo perpendicular and level, without the leaves and without moving anything. :^)
