Keep your batteries in your pocket if it’s really cold.
You can also get a lens warmer if it’s fogging up. Run off a power bank.
If you’re already carrying a large camera, who cares about a little extra weight.
My question:
What sort of backpack do you use? I’m struggling to find something to hold a few days of gear that has easy access to camera. Best I’ve managed is pack with lower zip access, but I don’t really want my expensive shit in the bottom under the heavy shit.
