>>3944470>"bad thing" in a photo it shouldn't existIt's the socially responsible groupthink these days. Fairly horrifying. Now I'm just waiting to see how many people decide im a "bad man" because of my refusal to delete shit they dont like.
>>3944485>just turn off the original automatic adjustmentsthats the problem, its associated with the tone curve, so not using it is bad, and custom curves seem to produce the same result anyway. I dont use presets, i just let the tone curve be on (by default) and wiggle exposure/wb. The curve looks identiccal between versions, but the result is different.
Its like a flashback to rawtherapee; they said just turn it off, but you cant really just turn it off.
It starts to look a lot like i'm HDRing all my photos or something. I cant tell if im just hypersensitive to seeing it or something, but when i upgrade an OS and therefore an application, and suddenly notice it in a bad and obvious way I have to assume its the application has changed in some fundamental way.
Some HDR faggot got into my coder pool.
>>3944480>rollback through the repositoryi had a quick unsuccessful look for versions with apt search but opted to just vnc to my 18.04 machine for editing. It works, but i'd like to bottle the old version for posterity, I have a shitload of photos that I dont want suddenly going all HDR and auto-rewriting their sidecar metadata files if i open them in future.
