>>3950269>especially the bluesAgreed, Oly always had cold temp and strong blues, a look i like very much and this camera certainly has it. But it's rare for me to get things looking as defined as you did.
>vsco's ektachrome 100vs>never really wanted to spend too much time editing the photos from a digicam from 2003 >so I would almost always chuck some kind of filter on it and change the settingsThe consistency was always on point that's why i suspected the filter play, along with that particular aesthetic being shown in your VSCO account.
You won't like reading that i spent nearly the hour in Photoshop tweaking single images manually, my workflow doesn't have much quality nor quantity but it makes me feel like i did enough to sleep well without the OCD of what-ifs which often bother me.
Nothing extreme like accurate masks or painting, just subtle curve adjustments and micro-tweaking sharpness and stuff but sometimes i do use an old Luminar version for changing exposures by area.
>I have only ever used the HQ oneIt has a different rendition than SHQ, the spherical aberration and "softness" is more notorious in HQ but S makes the chromatic aberrations sharper along with the vegetation/high-frequency details. HQ in general is more pleasing.
>I think for most instances I will have it turned off unless I am taking photos inside or of something darkYou have a particular notion with flash that stands out very well: It doesn't look that much like in-camera flash and it is harsh but makes things have more contrast rather than flatten the image. It screams of '90s fashion shoots.
>Would love to see some photos you took with the mjuFirst time i will post pics here in eons but your request is a special exception. This is a camera i like a lot because the image quality doesn't make me take it that seriously which in turn makes me have fun editing, just wish it had less artifacts when big swatches of the same colors appear.
BTW thanks for sharing those pics years ago.
