Small body, relatively small zoom lenses, and some of them are actually also marketed as lifestyle items that wouldn't look out of place next to an iPhone or whatever. Honestly, even for myself I'd prefer these any day over bridge cameras.
I must admit, a 600mm equivalent like you get on the RX10 III would be a stretch, even for M4/3, but I could never recommend anyone a fuckhuge camera with an 1" sensor.
With some M4/3 camera you'd definitely get better low light performance, plus superior stabilization if it's a somewhat recent model.
