Do all digital point and shoot cameras suck?
I need something cheap and small to take photos, what would be the best option? Should I move to film cameras completely?

I have a dslr but I want something to bring with me all the time

They aren't much worse than a good cam and they have shitty flash, I had a top of the line one circa 06 and it did the job.

They aren't bad in daylight and the flash turns on whether you want it to or not everywhere else. This was 12 years ago, I'm sure they're better but not as sovlful now.
