It's because you don't understand when people talk about DR, they are talking about ***base ISO DR***. DR converges as ISOs increase because it quickly becomes dominated by shot noise instead of read noise. This is especially true of sensors which utilize a more modern ADC architecture. Basically if you're not at base ISO, it's not worth worrying about.
Since it is now obvious that you know jack shit about DR, allow me to help you out...
* The vast majority of scenes fit in any ILC'S DR. Even the first DSLRs.
* As a result of point #1, a sensor with superior DR will show zero difference against another sensor for the vast majority of scenes.
* To maximize DR you MUST shoot RAW, ETTR, and properly post process the image.
* If you do not do these things then you've thrown away any DR advantage over a lesser sensor on those few scenes where it would matter.
* Someone with a lesser sensor who does these things can easily produce a final print with greater DR than your print if you do not do these things.
* Someone with a lesser sensor can easily blow past a superior sensor's DR with HDR techniques (i.e. shoot/blend two exposures).
This is why DR is the least important spec even for a spec fag. It's more important for cinema because you can't do some of the things with video that you can with a stills image and post processing is time consuming.
