Since this is the wildlife thread, maybe someone can help: Any tips for not fucking up your gear shooting in the cold?

I hear condensation can do awful things and worry, even though my d500 and tammy150-600 are both supposedly "weather sealed"

Keep your stuff in the bag when you come in from the cold and let them warm up slowly in the bag.

yea, topaz seems to work quite well.

has less of the "painty" blur look a lot of them do, and shooting birbs on a crop can get real messy cuz they like to come out when the light is getting bad.

Nice. I took some test shots at 10000 iso recently and had great results with topaz. Well worth it. Ive got some marshes nearby with lots of kestrels and herons. Just need the time to get there.
