I started taking photos like 2 weeks ago and I've noticed that once I get them in LightRoom that the image is really grainy and hazy.
I'm using a Cannon Powershot SX530 HS that someone gave me years ago

You're shooting iso 400 when you don't need to. SS @ 1/500 you can drop to 1/125 with iso 100.

idk.

Personally I shoot my powershot on 400 anyway since I like the noise

Where is that? Looks like north island NZ.
Shoot at 100 ISO.
Haze is haze… polarising filter can help a bit.

Remove the colour noise, but leave the luma noise and digital becomes somewhat okay, too.

There's a slider in lightroom and photoshop called chromatic noise. It's slightly hidden in rawtherappe, but also there.

Use some image editor that knows how to denoise feature. I use a very simple free application called DigiKam. I bet there are much better software, but I think you get the idea.

That's not terrible but the composition doesn't really work. You need to pick a single subject and think about how everything else should fit around it. That house in the bottom that's cut off adds nothing at all to the picture, and just confuses things. It could look cool to have contrast between the pink of that house and the yellow of the main one, but to do that you'd need to be physically lower down when taking the picture and get both fully in the shot. I think if you were a ways to the right and lower down, so across the lake from those piers, you could have had a nice shot. As is it can be salvaged somewhat. Hang on I'll try stupid things in gimp

Get a tripod, lowest iso you can, slow speed like 1/60 and adjust aperture accordingly.

It's because the noise amplitude is still uniform across the image, with film there is only noise in the midtones

I agree. Usually some colour adjustments are necessary to get a decent result. But it's still better than having random red/blue coloured noise everywhere.

you have a nearly 7 year old bridge camera which cost $430 new. your OP pic has a dirty lens as evidenced by that smudge on the tree to the right of center, you arent shooting at base ISO, and probably not on a tripod either, and probably shooting JPEGs instead of RAWs. Not sure what you are expecting here. For all the /p/hags who say gear doesnt matter, you just proved it does, along with knowing some basics about how cameras work.

A superzoom is not the tool for highest possible image quality so don't worry about it. Worry about shooting well composed photos of interesting subjects in good light.That's the difficult part.

Why are you at ISO 400 on an outdoor daytime shop?

Why are you at ISO 400 when you can drop your f and are focused on infinity anyway?

Zoom all the way out, set aperture to 3.4, and reduce shutter speed until you can shoot at ISO 100 and get a proper exposure. E Z

I should clarify, this is assuming f3.4 is sharp. I would hope that with a lens like that they made 3.4 quite sharp.

If you have a tripod then you should test out what aperture is sharpest and then adjust shutter speed while maintaining that aperture.
