i'll start with a recent one
>Nikon f3af & nikkor 35mm f2,8

i was thinking to buy a SLR so i won't strain my contax g2 alot.
it was either the contax rx or nikon f3 for me....almost bought one off ebay but slept over......today i see a Nikon f3af with 35mm lens
for fucking 200€....i contact the seller and just now i transfered the money...i have to wait to arrive :))
this will be one of my main camera for ever !!

long talk short: bought together with other cameras all together for 150€. Seller had 1 photo of 5-7 cameras (all crap except one mju and one nikon af35m) and some old as software dvds and random cables laying on the table on the photo....right upper corner of the photo you'd see the half body of the t2. Still using or better say owning it today

to be fair, i bought it like 6 years ago..for 100€
so it wasn't overpriced
pro tip: the tvs is still cheap and a great camera.
i prefer it over the t2 honestly, much better and comfy VF

pro tip: x700 is better than the vulnerable broke ass canon a1

20€ each package. expired but never ever had one problem with color shifts

A seller offered me a mirror lens for £15 so obviously took it, but then the seller messaged me saying there had been a pricing error which is quite annoying

i once found a m2 with lots of lenses with it for 300€ or so
messaged him right away and just when i was about to send the money
another person asks him to buy and he denies bc i was first...
so then he tells him that the m2 & the lenses are worth thousands
so he cancels the deal with me and goes higher with the price lol

Seriously, I bought a mint Pentax K1000 with a bunch off extra gear off a boomer from facebook marketplace for 25 euros. He was the first owner and everything was in pristine condition. I took some "professional" looking pictures of the camera, listed it for 180 euros and it sold the next day to some clueless girl that was trying to start doing analog photography.

Similar stories with point and shoots bought for one euro per piece, and sold for more than 100x that. Canon AE-1P bought for 50, sold for 250. Nikkormat FT3 bought for 20 at a flea market, sold for 220. It's insane once you find the boomers who list Mamiya's as "old camera" and ask 20 euros for it thinking it's a piece of junk.

by the sounds of this case. it is actually providing a service. buy something being sold as junk, ends up with someone who finds value in it and everyone is happy.
