>Can you swap lenses from different brands?Every manufacturer has a lens mount. For example, Sony's current one is called "E-Mount".
There are some other manufacturers that make lenses for this mount besides Sony. Those are usually third parties like Sigma or Voigtländer.
You usually won't mount a lens from another camera vendor, e.g. a Canon lens on a Sony camera.
Sometimes camera companies agree on a common mount, for example Micro Four Thirds or Leica L. This means that you can use one camera vendor's lens on another vendor's camera, as long as the mount is the same.
For example, a Leica lens on a Panasonic body if they both have L-Mount.
All of this is what they call a "lens ecosystem".
Some lens mounts have lots of third party support, while others just have first party lenses mostly.
>Are fixed lenses more superior than lenses that can changes? For the same price, a fixed-focus lens (aka. prime lens) will be better at that focal length than a zoom, but you're restricted to that focal length only. So it's not "almost always no" in my opinion, but "do you need to zoom or not". You often do not, hence the "zoom with your feet" meme.
>Do you often shoot manual or more often auto?Aperture priority mostly.
>Does manual is better than auto or vice versa? No, don't fall for the all manual meme. It's useless for most shots. You're not a better photographer for making it hard for yourself.
