I don't even have a direct purpose for this tripod, I just want to have one, and I want to have a good one. Maybe I'll carry it with me somewhere, maybe it'll just hold my camera still. I'm very attracted to the 90° center pole orientation of the Manfrotto(as seen in the OP image).
