They can't possibly take pictures of everything, especially the day-to-day things that they're accustomed to and thus might overlook. In the case of where I live, there were no such photograpers nor albums that I know about as I doubt they'd give much priority to smaller cities such as this one, which makes these pictures taken by a some guy the only ones we have of this place at that time.
I get that it certainly must feel saturated if one follows photographers in social media and sees the same things over and over, but the majority of things on the internet are. It seems best to just distance youreself and do what you like.
Anyway, my point is to just let people take whatever pictures they enjoy taking as long as they don't
