>>3968779E-M1X birb detection AF...
Oh god, why did Olympus make such a great feature and put it into a body with the worst ergo they've made...
I tried that camera in the store, and while it's quite nicely balancing with most lenses... they messed up the shutter button and front control dial. The vertical grip is also pretty weird.
They decided, with their "pro" camera to move buttons to places you wouldn't ordinarily think to look in, just to imitate a Nikon.
Hopefully the OM System "wow" camera fixes the ergo.
>>3968852Sony colour science is down to the fact that Sony don't know how to make jpegs and video acceptable to humans.
Take the raws into whatever you want, capture one perhaps, and you end up with something humans can actually appreciate. Similar deal with ProRes RAW into Final Cut I guess for video.
I think it's only really the A7C, A7RIV, A7IV, A1 and A9II that have fixed colour science made by humans.
Still... why would I get an ergonomic nightmare of a camera, stick some zoom on it and still need to crop in post?
The likes of the Olympus 300mm f/4 is sharp wide open, has impressive IS, and is a fraction of the size and weight of anything the likes of Canon, Sony or Nikon make.
What's more, is that you don't lose much in terms of sharpness if you put the 1.4 teleconverter.
Oh, and you get lovely colour science.
What isn't there to like?
