All the "pro tips" people gave in this thread are getting your footage kinda blurry and not in a nice way.
If you shoot parties / concerts a 20% is good and for outside/daylight photo I'd say a 10% maximum as 20 would generate waaaay too much bloom with the sun.
The best advice if you want that "film bloom" is to shoot 10 bit video and go through the Dehancer plugin for Resolve , that way you can retain sharpness and get your effect without fiddling with a filter on set
