>>3971790Venus is not always there dumbass, it orbits the sun and is on the other side just as often. This conjunction isn't extremely rare but it's far from "always there". Venus being at that point in the sky that close and bright along with the moon setting in the same area is just unusual enough to be visually striking. I didn't even know it was coming up but I took notice early in the evening.
Anyway I did get some photos but I was at work and unprepared so I had to snap when I had a free second. As a result, my favorite image is actually one of my biggest fuck ups of the night. Resulted in a blurry abstract soft sunset gradient thing. I'm not calling it a good photo but it's the only one from last night I like looking at.
