Cheap P&S w/ Optical Viewfinder

A couple of days ago I dropped and bricked my old Sony Cybershot DSC-W150. I've been looking for a replacement that's fairly cheap (Got my W150 for free), has an optical viewfinder, and a flexible zoom range. As a bonus, I would also like something that's usable at ISO 800/1600, is sturdier than the W150, and is able to zoom during video. I've run up short so far, any anons know anything that meet these requirements?

The P&S I just broke had 3/4 of those things. I find it difficult to believe 9 years after it's release it's not possible to get one more.

The sensor on your camera was about 1/20th the size of an entry level crop camera, that means it needs 20 times as much light for equal low light performance.

and it's lens is f3.3-5.2, which is slow as shit.

The zoom range is also irrelevant, as you could crop an image from an a6000 down to 6% of the original image size, and still have the same noise performance.

and why do you need something sturdier? you soem kind of retard that can't use his hands?

Optical viewfinders are just a matter of preference. I quite dislike EVFs, even the new high resolution ones.

You got a greater than 4k screen? No, didn't think so.

So you can crop in to 1/6th of the original image on a 24mp crop sensor, and not only have enough mp to fill any screen, you also have a much higher resolution from your lens, as you're still using a much larger sensor area.

And 1/6th of a 28mm fov is more zoom than the 70mm you're after.

No, you don't get it, you're being a retard, you can't have an optical viewfinder without an SLR mechanism.
Are you referring to a non-rangefinder coupled rangefinder window? in which case, you're double retarded.

Maybe something like the Canon G16? It doesn't look quite as small as your Sony but the larger sensor and very fast lens should make it work well in low light. The sample shots at 1600 look pretty good.

tbhfam /p/ isn't the place to ask about compact cameras. They don't tickle the gear autism the way large sensor ILCs do so nophoto specsheet sniffers have an uncontrollable disdain for them

As I mentioned in OP, I'm also looking to shoot video using the inbuilt zoom. Is it really feasible to create a tracking crop for every video I shoot instead of just using a zoom lens. I'm no stickler for resolution at all, and even on my old camera I occasionally cropped in post, but I think it's just really important to the quality and experience of the composition to have what you need in the frame without having to crop most of your photos in post.

I referred to it as an optical viewfinder because that's what Sony refers to it as (https://www.amazon.com/Sony-Cybershot-DSCW150-Digital-Optical/dp/B0012UZMUU). I didn't call it a rangefinder window because the even though it's optical, it zooms in with the lens like an EVF would to match the focal length. I think that if one were familiar with the market space, they would know what I meant, and not be some so technical about terminology because their gear obsession hasn't extended to P&S cameras.
If you're going to obsess over this, at least give a decent camera recommendation.

Optical viewfinder, optical zoom, not mind blowing but very reasonable image quality and they are built very well.
And before anyone says it, yes these are old with small sensors but with these requirements with a small budget I think they are the perfect choice.
